- Lead daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing.
- Hire, train, schedule, and coach kitchen staff.
- Maintain standards for recipes, portions, food quality, and presentation.
- Manage food ordering, inventory, waste, and food costs.
- Monitor kitchen labor and adjust staffing to meet business needs.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Communicate with front-of-house leadership to coordinate service and resolve issues.
- Previous kitchen management or comparable leadership experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Strong cooking skills and the ability to lead during busy shifts.
- Experience with scheduling, ordering, inventory, and cost control.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and a team-focused approach.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Food safety certification preferred.
