The unit has 48 beds with a patient ratio of 12:1, depending on census. Patients must be medically cleared before arriving at the facility. Exclusion criteria include patients with lines or tubes, except for CPAPs and those needing minimal oxygen support. Most charting is done on paper. A platform is utilized for entering orders. Medications are managed through a dispensing system. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Experience in accurate and thorough charting is preferred. Behavioral management skills are important for this role. Common diagnoses treated include substance abuse disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, and anxiety disorders. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, a positive team player, and demonstrates empathy and kindness. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs, and hoodies are not acceptable attire.
