About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ Years of Med-Surg Experience Required License: OK or Compact License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Meditech Experience Required Preferred: Pediatric Experience Preferred Description: The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience. Experience with Meditech charting system is required. The role will require floating to various medical-surgical floors. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. A valid nursing license from Oklahoma or a compact state is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Candidates are expected to manage a patient ratio of 6 at night. Weekend coverage is a requirement. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy, among others. The unit serves a diverse patient age group, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
