Atlantic Surgery Center at Union located in Union, NJ. Seeking a Non-Call, Day-time Anesthesiologist.

Atlantic Surgery Center at Union is a convenient and inviting space for patients and their caregivers. Our state-of-the-art facility that offers: 4 operating rooms, 2 endo suites and 2 minor procedure rooms, 30 pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit bays and has the latest technology, equipment and instrumentation and hospital grade sterilization.

Case Assignments: Endo, ENT & Pain are the majority of cases All own cases

Shifts: Mon-Fri, 8 hr days Part Time FTE also available

Team Leadership: Dr. James Pierre-Louis, Chief Anesthesiologist

Requirements: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia Currently licensed as a physician
