Registered Nurse - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CA RN with specialized cardiac telemetry and step-down experience to provide high-quality patient care in a cardiac unit. This role involves managing post-procedural patients and administering critical drips within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients' cardiac status using telemetry equipment.
• Administer and titrate cardiac-related drips, including Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardiezm, and Dopamine.
• Support patients before and after cardiac procedures such as cath labs, CABG, and TAVR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document clinical findings accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Ensure timely completion of required onboarding modules and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac telemetry or step-down experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications from AHA or ARC.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing cardiac drips and post-procedural care.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
