Williamsburg, VA Job ID: R-2508955 Salary: $65,500 - $98,000/yr Employment type: Regular / Permanent Position Summary Oversee the logistics operations within the assigned area, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and in writing, e.g., customers, suppliers, associates. Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing, scheduling, and workloads to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety. Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures, monitoring compliance, and distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others when needed, and determining corrective action or making recommendations in order to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, and coaching; identify training and development needs, and participate in hiring, promotion, and evaluation processes. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience, or 2 years Walmart Logistics experience, or 2 years supervisory experience. Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office, Supervising Associates, Walmart Logistics Manager experience; Bachelor's degrees in Business or Logistics.
