Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient women's imaging center, requiring 1+ year of mammography experience including screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D imaging skills.

Details

• Outpatient imaging center specializing in women's health
• Mammography department performing screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography
• Equipment includes Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA (required), with GE, Siemens, Philips, and Samsung Ultrasound (preferred)
• Charting via Epic
• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating within or to sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced certification required
• Virginia state license required — pending or temporary licenses are not accepted; license required if applicable
• Proficiency with PACS and outpatient imaging workflows required
• Experience with screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography required
• Experience with Hologic DBT and Hologic DEXA required

Additional Information

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography, including digital and 3D (tomosynthesis) imaging
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion and must be disclosed at the time of consideration
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
