CNC Machinist

Looking for a 3-day weekend every week? Join a growing manufacturer where you'll work with advanced CNC machines, robotic automation, and precision aerospace components.

• Operate and adjust CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers
• Perform tool changes and offsets
• Work with robotic automation and machine-tending systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain production efficiency
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Follow safety and quality standards, including AS9100 requirements

• CNC machining experience
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Experience holding tight tolerances
• Robotics or automation experience is a plus
• Knowledge of G-Code/M-Code is a plus

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday

2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday-Thursday $1.25/hour shift differential

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
