Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/04/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Various Locations. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care within a 65-bed emergency department. The RN will be responsible for assessing, documenting, and managing patient care across all age groups, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical standards. Job Details Position Description: Emergency Department RN for a 65-bed unit with pediatric and mental health areas. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Night shifts are available but do not rotate. Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification verification; professional resume; professional references; 2 years of emergency nursing experience; Certifications required: American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Skill Sets Required: Assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, patient education. Patient Population: All age groups. Clinical Responsibilities: Managing a diverse patient population, utilizing EPIC electronic medical record system, working within ED protocols, and possibly floating within the emergency department (ED). Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (strongly preferred), NRP and TNCC certifications are highly preferred. Floats: Float rotation may be required. Start Date: 10/04/2026. End Date: 01/02/2027.
