Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.Job DescriptionElectrical EngineerDesign, implement and validate production control equipment.Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.Study equipment performance and reliability.Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.Education and ExperienceBachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
