Finance Liaison
Location: Washington DC - Hybrid – Three days onsite, Two days remote (Local DMV Only)
The Rates and Revenue department is requesting resumes of potential candidates to fulfil one temporary Finance Liaison position. We are presently interested in a short-term engagement. We would like to receive resumes no later than Wednesday, August 5th, and conduct interviews on Friday, August 7th. Listed below are the position requirements and essential functions:
Requirements:
- Work Experience (Number of Years) – 1 to 3 years
- Work Experience (Strong analytical skills, understanding of basics finance, budgets, and experience using financial operations) – Minimum of 1 years
- Education – Must have a minimum of bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Strong excel, communication (oral and written), program management skills
- Short learning curve with the ability to immediately begin to add value
Essential Functions:
- Reviews, records, and reports
- Assist in preparation of monthly Board reports
- Assist in preparation of Budget Book tables, charts, and narrative.
- Assist in data gathering and process flow improvements
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned at the discretion of the supervisor
