ARRT Mammography Technologist

MLR is seeking a certified Mammography Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Hinkley, California!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Mammograms: Operate mammography equipment to capture clear breast images while ensuring proper patient positioning.
Patient Care & Education: Prepare and guide patients through the mammogram process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
Image Review: Check image quality before submitting to radiologists for evaluation.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure mammography equipment functions properly, reporting issues as needed.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
State of California and ARRT registration and certification.
BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience required.
