We are recruiting HCAs and Support Workers to work in a variety of settings, including: Care homes Residential services Supported living Learning disability and complex needs services Mental health services Whether your experience is in personal care, learning disabilities, autism, mental health or complex behaviours, we have flexible and rewarding shifts to suit you Key Responsibilities As a Healthcare Assistant: Provide person-centred care in care homes and residential settings Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, mobility & meal support Help with medication prompts/administration (as trained) Promote dignity, respect, independence and wellbeing Record and report changes in health and behaviour Work alongside healthcare professionals and families As a Support Worker: Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex care Encourage independence, life skills and engagement in meaningful activities Provide emotional support and enable community participation Use positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques where required Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures Complete accurate notes and communicate effectively with the team Why Choose Cucumber Recruitment?
