PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Registered Nurse (RN)

Willow Branch Health and Rehab is seeking PRN Licensed Practical Nurses & Registered Nurses! (LPN/RN) We are looking for dedicated and compassionate LPNs and RNs to join our care team and deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse (LPN/RN) Responsibilities Cultivates a contagious and positive work ethic, inspiring others and modeling genuine, caring, and friendly behavior. Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Prepares and administers medications (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed treatments, reporting adverse reactions in accordance with the medication administration policy. Records patient medical information and vital signs accurately. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays. Initiates corrective action whenever a patient displays adverse symptomatology. Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients. Changes dressings, inserts catheters, and starts IVs as needed. Prepares equipment and assists the physician during examinations and treatments. Responds to life‑saving situations based on nursing standards and protocols. Participates in discharge planning. Utilizes time‑management skills effectively. Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner and in the appropriate format. Performs other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting. Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse (LPN/RN) Requirements Current LPN or RN license in the State. Up‑to‑date first aid and CPR certification. Preferred: at least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long‑term care setting. Preferred: knowledge of Matrixcare.
