Key Responsibilities

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends throughout the perioperative experience
• Deliver patient care as a circulating and/or scrub nurse, ensuring safe and therapeutically effective nursing care in the operating room
• Supervise assigned team members and serve as a resource and teacher within the OR environment
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage as required
• Utilize nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications

Required Qualifications

• Current Washington State or Multistate RN license required
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Ability to practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and applicable hospital and regulatory standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Operating Room nursing
• Previous experience in Recovery Room (PACU) nursing
