This position manages the complete purchasing cycle for raw materials, manufactured components, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies, subcontracted services, and other operational needs. RequirementsBachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.Three or more years of purchasing or procurement experience preferred.Experience working with ERP or MRP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Effective written and verbal communication skills when working with suppliers and internal teams.Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.Basic understanding of applicable industry standards.Familiarity with common steel grades, product forms, and basic metallurgical properties is preferred.Ability to work in fast-paced environment.Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel. xhyhwjd Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.Capability to stand for prolonged periods of timeInitial preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commoditiesProcess modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreementsPerform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills
