Concession Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Concession Supervisor to lead our retail concession located inside of Bloomingdale's in Short Hills, NJ. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage the overall business, conduct visual merchandising tasks, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your leadership will drive sales growth, streamline operations, and foster a positive shopping environment. Duties:

• Supervise daily concession operations, ensuring smooth and efficient store performance.
• Lead, motivate, and execute knowledge on customer service excellence, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
• Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, ordering, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
• Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering processes with accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews for new hires, and ongoing training & development initiatives.
• Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to boost sales and meet revenue targets.
• Maintain organized bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and budget management to ensure financial accuracy.
• Enforce store policies related to safety, cleanliness, and compliance while fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements:

• Proven supervisory experience within retail environments; experience in managing retail sales is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of retail industry sales management, inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising practices.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus; ability to connect with diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, operations, inventory control and visual merchandising.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, pricing calculations, inventory tracking, and financial reporting.
• Experience with operational management tasks such as budgeting, purchasing, stock control, and shift management.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities confidently.
• Familiarity with retail store product knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills combined with phone etiquette and customer service expertise.
