Produce Sales RepresentativeEstablished grower/shipper located in Texas seeks an experienced Produce Sales Rep. This position will be responsible for current account development and business development with regional and national retail accounts.Responsibilities:Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales activity and trendsManage and do business development for retail, foodservice, and wholesale accountsExecute short and long-term sales goals along with sales strategies by aligning with overall company goalsMaintain strong selling marginsPartner with company management to develop and implement strategies for securing new accounts and achieving sales goalsTrack and compile data related to customer and prospective interactionsMonitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedbackVisit companies that buy our products and educate them on our quality, our quality assurance procedures, expectations and data reportingMonitor competition to enhance sales effort focus by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, shipping fees, merchandising, sales volume, etc.Prove commitment to overall team and company success with a willingness to assist with duties outside of scope as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree required5+ years of experience as a Produce Sales Rep.Prior experience with iTrade and Foodlink preferredProficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and WordDemonstrated experience in developing and implementing a sales strategy as well as getting results through new customer acquisitionSkilled negotiation skills and problem solverEntrepreneurial spirit and business mindTravel 20%+Compensation: DOE, medical benefits. 401K, relocation assistancePlease contact Jennifer Mazza, View email address on click.appcast.io
