About the Role:
Join Jds Landscaping & Irrigation LLC as a Sod Installation Crew Leader and take charge of transforming outdoor spaces in Midway, GA! In this exciting role, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering top-notch sod installation services, ensuring customer satisfaction and beautiful landscapes.

Responsibilities:

Lead sod installation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Supervise and train crew members on best practices and safety protocols.
Coordinate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
Prepare and grade soil for optimal sod placement.
Manage inventory and ensure all materials are available for each job.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment and tools.
Monitor project timelines and ensure timely completion of installations.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience in landscaping or sod installation, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of sod types, soil preparation, and installation techniques.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in landscaping or horticulture is a plus.
