Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients throughout a designated shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient input
• Collaborate with physicians and members of the healthcare team to coordinate delivery of patient care across applicable age groups
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS or HS-ACLS or RQI ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during orientation
• Recent EPIC and Cerner experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
