• Experience Required:
• Minimum of 2 years in a relevant field
• Experience in general medical-surgical units or observation settings
• Familiarity with monitoring patients, basic care procedures, and emergency response
• Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Monitoring and Assessment:
  • Continuously monitor vital signs and assess physical conditions
  • Conduct routine physical exams
  • Report significant changes in conditions promptly
• Basic Patient Care:
  • Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures
  • Support the collection of patient samples for testing
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication with healthcare team members
  • Coordinate patient care and plan timely interventions
• Emergency Response:
  • Recognize changes requiring urgent care
  • Provide initial care in emergencies and assist in escalation
• Infection Control and Safety:
  • Follow infection control protocols
  • Ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
• Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Qualifications:
• Valid state nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong observational skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in basic nursing tasks
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Physical Demands:
• Standing, walking, lifting, and moving patients
