Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN or MSN preferred)
• Active RN license in New Jersey
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• ACLS and Critical Care Course completion required within 12 months
• Dysrhythmia course required within 6 months
• National certification in specialty area preferred
• 8 hours of stroke education required annually
• Must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 6 months of hire (if not already completed) with degree completion required within 3 years

What You Will Do:

• Deliver direct patient care to individuals with acute and complex cardiac needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, perform assessments, and provide life-saving interventions
• Work alongside providers to implement treatment plans and support recovery
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health, procedures, and discharge planning
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation using electronic medical records
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and clinical excellence
