As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will maintain a visible presence while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THIS SITE (NON-DRIVING POSITION) Pay Rate: $17.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and direct personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements. Document incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Prior access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
