Accounting Manager

At Crossroads Courier, every delivery matters. We're looking for an Accounting Manager who wants more than a traditional accounting role. Most Accounting Manager positions focus primarily on financial reporting and closing the books. This role provides an opportunity to influence the business beyond the numbers by leading people, improving processes, building customer and vendor relationships, and partnering directly with executive leadership . We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, identifying efficiencies, and helping a growing organization scale while developing a strong accounting team. What You'll Own Month-end and year-end close Financial reporting and analysis Accounts receivable, collections, and customer payment relationships Accounts payable Treasury and banking relationships Compliance reporting Team leadership and development Process improvement initiatives SOP creation and cross-training efforts What We're Looking For Required Full-cycle accounting experience Ownership of month-end close Collections and Accounts Receivable experience Accounting software / ERP experience Proven process improvement accomplishments Preferred Logistics, transportation, healthcare, or service industry experience Budgeting and forecasting experience AI or automation experience Success in This Role Looks Like Within your first year, you'll: Build trust with the team Become the primary backup to the VP of Finance Improve processes and scalability Create stronger accountability and documentation Strengthen customer and vendor relationships Provide meaningful business insight, not just financial reports Why Join Crossroads Courier?
