Intensive Care Registered Nurse Full Time Days

ICU NurseFull Time 36 weekly hours, day shift - three 12-hour shifts per week (7a to 7p) & every third weekend. Support shifts required.Sign On Bonus Eligible for Experienced Critical Care Nurses!The Intensive Care unit (ICU) is a 20 bed critical care unit specializing in neurologic care. Staff working in ICU will encounter a variety of nursing needs from stroke, post-op neurosurgery, ventricular drains, abdominal pressure monitoring, CRRT to hypothermia.The ICU nurse assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions for the patient. The ICU Nurse establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently. ICU nurses must have strong critical thinking skills. The critical care nurse acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient's critical care journey.Minimum Education, Training, and Experience:1. Active Kentucky License2. BCLS Required within 90 days of employment.3.
