Job DescriptionJob Description Qualifications Manufacturing: 5 years () Full Job Description Approves finished products by confirming Purchase order, blueprints / drawings and specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work. Documents inspection results by completing Final inspection packages reports, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database. Complete Delegated Product Release Verification activities including a review of documentation, visual inspection, dimensional over-check, part marking and serialization, and release documentation requirements. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. First piece/ In process inspections Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production dept. Quality Inspector Qualifications/Skills: Written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Basic computer skills Attention to detail Analytic skills Documentation skills Hand/eye coordination Reporting skills GD&T Blueprint reading AS9102 forms Education and Experience Preferences: High school diploma minimum Experience with measuring devices such as micrometers, height gauges, computers, calipers, surface plate, optical comparator, and other measuring instruments. Two to five years’ quality inspector experience, knowledge of CMM manager or PC-DMIS software is a plus.
