In this role, you will provide high-quality, student-centered nursing care in a collaborative and supportive environment. The LPN works closely with the building nurse(s) to support student health needs and promote a safe and healthy school community. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the building nurse(s) to provide direct care to students. Respond promptly and effectively to student illness, injury, and medical emergencies. Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with physician orders and school protocols. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student health records. Support student wellness and preventive health initiatives. Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff. Follow Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines and district nursing policies. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Current licensure as a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or American Red Cross; in-person certification required) Successful completion of all required background checks, including CORI and fingerprinting. At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Postgraduate Certificate degree preferred.
