Care Coordinator

This fully remote role focuses on providing empathetic, high-quality support for patients navigating specialty healthcare services. You will act as a primary point of contact, processing referrals, resolving patient inquiries, and coordinating directly with healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Manage patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial. Create and process accurate referrals and applications within a centralized CRM. Resolve patient inquiries regarding their journey status with empathy and professionalism. Place outbound follow-up calls to patients, clinics, and healthcare providers. Accurately document detailed notes in real-time while conversing on the phone. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma required; 2-4 years of customer-facing or call center experience highly preferred. Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM and seamlessly multitask across multiple software programs. proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric focus. Prior knowledge of insurance billing methods or general pharmacy operations is a plus. Independent worker with time management skills and a solid work ethic. Schedule & Technical Requirements Schedule: Must be available for any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (CST). Training: The first 4-6 weeks will be strictly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST) with mandatory virtual attendance. Workspace: Must have a dedicated, private, and distraction-free environment Internet: Hardwired broadband connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber) required directly to the router. Wi-Fi, satellite, or cellular connections are not permitted. Speeds: Minimum 15 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload / maximum 30ms ping rate.
