The duties include:
Implementing various programs EEO, merit promotions, career development, affirmative action to achieve equitable treatment of employees.
Assigning duties and responsibilities to subordinate employees, establishing work performance standards for employees, preparing annual performance ratings, approving/disapproving employee annual leave, initiating personnel actions.
Responsible for development, review, and revisions of program of instruction (POI) that complement and enhance using units training programs as well as the overall Army Aviation Training Program.
Conducting instrument training, and instrument flight evaluation utilizing the UH-60 "Blackhawk" Flight Simulator.
Instructing/evaluating rated active military aviators to determine individual ability to perform duties as aviator, instructor or examiner from a crew station with access to the aircraft controls and IAW AR 95-1 and the specific air crew training manual.
