Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Scottsburg, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Hospital telemetry unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 36 hours per week, three 12-hour shifts per day
• Every other weekend required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Additional Information

• Responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, care plan development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support patient and family education
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel and may serve in a mentor or preceptor role
• Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and maintains compliance with regulatory standards
• Operates within a Practice Governance framework with an emphasis on evidence-based practice
