Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMCU Duration: 48-hour contract Shift: Not specified Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of experience in critical care nursing BLS and ACLS certifications Description: Provide nursing care to patients in an intermediate care setting. Patient population includes those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, type 2 diabetes, substance abuse issues, and encephalopathy. Administer heparin drips as needed. Maintain a patient care ratio of 1 to 4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Document patient care accurately and timely. Participate in staff development and continuing education opportunities.
