As a Security Officer - Distribution Plant in Anderson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service. Help maintain a welcoming environment through a visible presence and timely reporting of security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology-focused location, including entry points, common areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
