Job Title: Eastern Orleans Community Center (EOCC) Coordinator (Case Manager)

Reports To: Community Services Manager (Director in Manager’s absence)
Pay Range: $19.00-$24.00
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: M-F 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

I. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Eastern Orleans Community Center (EOCC) Coordinator is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Eastern Orleans Community Center, including oversight of service delivery, case management functions, and site-based operations. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers and staff, ensuring high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination of resources to support customer self-sufficiency.

II. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding Agency customers, employees, and all Agency business information.
• Conduct customer interviews and provide direct services or advocacy with external service providers.
• Build supportive relationships with individuals and families to identify and address barriers to self-sufficiency.
• Determine customer eligibility for Agency programs in accordance with policies and funder requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case records to support internal reporting and external funding requirements.
• Prepare monthly program outcome reports and other reports as required.
• Oversee and ensure accurate data entry into the Agency’s customer outcome tracking system (imPowr).
• Submit expenses, donations, and required documentation to the Community Services Manager in a timely manner.
• Order inventory for the food pantry and soup kitchen through approved vendors; monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or concerns.
• Ensure the EOCC facility, food pantry, and kitchen remain clean and compliant with all applicable licensing and regulatory requirements, including Health Department standards.
• Monitor volunteer attendance and approve volunteer and participant timesheets through online systems in accordance with Agency policy.
• Assist with direct services in the soup kitchen, food pantry, and recreational or community activities as needed.
• Ensure that staff, volunteers, job development participants, and interns receive appropriate training related to job duties, safety, and funder or regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to meet operational needs, deadlines, or emergency situations.
• Learn, follow, and enforce all Community Action of Orleans & Genesee policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Community Services Manager or Director.

III. MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in non-mandatory trainings and meetings as directed by the Community Services Manager or Director.
• Coordinate or oversee special projects, including surplus food distributions, holiday baskets, and seasonal initiatives.

IV. RELATIONSHIPS

A. Internal

• Collaborate professionally and effectively with Community Center staff, volunteers, interns, job development participants, and Agency leadership.

Supervision Received:

• Limited supervision. Work is primarily performed independently after assignment, with responsibility for planning and execution and discretion in methods. Guidance is available for complex or unusual situations.
