HR Business Partner
Locations Supported: Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH
Salary: $85,000-$100,000 annually plus bonus
Industry: Manufacturing
Position Overview
A national manufacturer is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support operations in Indianapolis and Columbus. This role will partner with site leadership to manage employee relations, talent initiatives, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Advise operations leaders on employee and organizational matters
- Manage employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Support recruiting, retention, succession planning, and leadership development
- Lead performance management and employee development initiatives
- Guide managers through organizational changes
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Monitor turnover, engagement, and other workforce trends
- Partner with compensation and benefits teams
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of HR experience
- At least three years in an HR Business Partner or similar role
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, sales, or corporate teams
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
- Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, and talent development
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or comparable HR certification
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Experience supporting multiple locations
