Detroit Sponge & Chamois Co. is a third-generation, family-owned distributor that has been serving professional window cleaners and contractors for over 85 years. We're a small team that takes pride in providing excellent customer service and shipping orders accurately and on time. 

We're looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate / Order Picker & Packer who enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a close-knit team where everyone's contribution matters. 

This is a part-time position with additional hours available during our busy season. 

What You'll Do 

• Pick customer orders accurately 
• Pack shipments for UPS and other carriers 
• Restock inventory and organize warehouse shelves 
• Assemble and package select products 
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe 
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed 

Accuracy is just as important as speed. Every order you prepare represents our company and helps keep our customers' businesses running.

Because we're a small team, dependable attendance is essential. Every team member plays an important role in helping us serve our customers each day. 

Warehouse experience is helpful but not required. 

Physical Requirements 

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds 
• Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds 
• Be on your feet throughout the day 
• Regular bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking 

Schedule 

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 
• Approximately 24 hours per week 
• No evenings 
• No weekends 
• Additional hours may be available during our busy season

Job Type: Part-Time 

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour 

Expected Hours: Approximately 24 hours per week, with additional hours available during the busy season.
