Our additional media properties include video production companies Raycom Sports, Tupelo Media Group, and PowerNation Studios, and studio production facilities Assembly Atlanta and Third Rail Studios.WSAZ, a media organization, is searching for an Accounting Clerk to perform administrative, clerical, and accounting duties for executive management. The Accounting Clerk will work with the executive team and corporate accounting to ensure proper communication and timely workflow.Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform light accounting, support office financial activities, and provide clerical/administrative supportResponsible for administering station accounting duties as prescribed by Shared Services, including accounts receivable/credit and collections, daily traffic log reconciliations, and processing vendor invoices through the company's accounts payable systemResponsible for coordinating all station programming schedules and formats with Corporate Programming, HUB Traffic, Nielsen, Comscore, and the station Sales, News, and Master Control operationsManage station reporting records on the FCC website and complete annual FCC filingsEnsure compliance with FCC regulations and applicable governmental agenciesAssist with planning and execution of station eventsWork closely with corporate Accounting Manager and Program ManagerServe as backup to the Office ManagerQualifications/Requirements:Minimum 3+ years of accounting or administrative experience.Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skillsA college degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field and broadcast experience are a plus.Dependable and able to meet deadlinesStrong organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesProven ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentialityGray Media provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
