This role involves performing on-site installation, diagnostics, and maintenance of IP-based security systems, as well as supporting system configuration and remote troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low-voltage work, system integration, and IT/networking. Regular travel to client sites is required for physical installation and hands-on service of security hardware. Requirements 3+ years of experience in security system installation, low-voltage work, system integration, or IT support Proficient in configuring, integrating, and maintaining IP camera systems and NVR/iVMS software (e.g., Milestone, Akuvox) Strong understanding of networking, including IP address assignment, routing, VPN setup, and port forwarding Experience with Windows Server environments and remote access tools (e.g., TeamViewer, RDP) Skilled in system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and providing remote support Familiar with power tools, cable testers, and industry-standard safety practices Able to document system configurations, network settings, and changes accurately Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills; able to provide client training and create user documentation (Spanish language skills are a plus) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites across the Tri-State area Job Details Position: Field/Integration Technician Type: Full-Time Location: Tri State EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
