Quality Tech Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 17.51 to $ 18.01 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available
- Perform thorough quality inspections & sorting projects on manufactured goods.
- Utilize precision measuring devices, including micrometers, calipers, & various gauges, to verify product specifications & ensure accuracy.
- Conduct audit inspections to ensure compliance with established quality standards & procedures.
- Identify & report non-conforming materials or products, documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues & support continuous improvement efforts.
- Rotate tasks as needed to meet production demands and maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, & organized work area at all times.
Quality Tech Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous history working in sorting projects, quality inspection, or audit inspections is required.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring devices such as micrometers & calipers. Familiarity with other gauges is a plus.
- Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 45 lbs and repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of an 8 to 12-hour shift.
- Must be able to work comfortably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a hot & potentially dirty atmosphere.
- Must be able to read and speak English fluently for clear communication & understanding of instructions.
