Hospice Volunteer

Together Hospice Care, Inc. is looking for volunteers! Join our hospice team and become a valued member of our community! We are looking for compassionate individuals to volunteer their time as companions for our patients and their families. As they navigate their end-of-life journey, the most meaningful gift you can provide is your support and companionship.

Our patients are in Orange County, San Diego County, and more! We offer flexible scheduling to fit your availability; no prior experience is required. Every volunteer will receive training and ongoing support to ensure a fulfilling experience.

As a patient volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to choose how much time you want to dedicate and what activities you’d like to engage in. These may include socializing, reading, playing games, etc. If you are not interested in 1 to 1 patient care we're also looking for help in the office. This may include organizing files, data entry, and managing paperwork, answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to inquiries.

The minimum requirements for a hospice volunteer are listed below.

Minimum of 18 years old

* Valid CA Drivers license is required for Patient/Family Services

* Valid CA ID is required for Office Assistance / Community Outreach / Bereavement

* Pass background check

* Orientation and Training
