We are looking for an experienced, community-driven Assistant Store Manager to help lead the launch of our NYC flagship location. This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing women’s activewear brands and play a key role in building Oner Active’s first physical retail experience in the United States. About the Role As Assistant Store Manager, you will partner closely with the Store Manager to lead daily operations, oversee the team, and deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the ONER brand. You will support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of the store team while driving operational excellence, visual merchandising standards, and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Store Leadership & Team Management Support the Store Manager in leading all day-to-day store operations Act as a leader on the shop floor by motivating and inspiring the team Help recruit, onboard, train, and develop store employees Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment Lead by example through strong customer service and operational execution Client Experience & Community Deliver an elevated and personalised customer experience Build meaningful relationships with customers and encourage long-term loyalty Represent the Oner Active brand values and culture at all times Support in-store activations, community events, launches, and brand moments Help cultivate a welcoming environment that empowers and inspires customers Act as a key brand ambassador within the NYC wellness and fitness community Commercial & Operational Excellence Support the achievement of store sales targets and KPI performance Assist with inventory management, stock control, replenishment, and loss prevention Ensure operational processes are executed efficiently and accurately Maintain exceptional store standards across cleanliness, organisation, and presentation Support scheduling, payroll administration, and workforce planning where required Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting Visual Merchandising Ensure the store reflects Oner Active’s premium and elevated brand aesthetic Maintain high visual merchandising standards across all product categories Support floor moves, product launches, and seasonal visual updates Ensure the customer journey throughout the store feels seamless and inspiring What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills Minimum 2+ years of retail leadership or assistant management experience Experience within premium fashion, activewear, lifestyle, or wellness retail preferred Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to motivate teams and drive performance Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving retail environment Strong understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes #J-18808-Ljbffr
