Job Summary:

Provides technical support to cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses during procedures in the Interventional Cath Lab. Ensures safe and accurate treatment execution through skilled technical analysis, patient assessment, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist with the preparation and operation of equipment for cardiac interventional procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and condition to ensure safety throughout procedures.
  
  
• 
  Maintain strict compliance with all privacy, safety, and regulatory policies.
  
  
• 
  Educate and mentor students or new staff as needed.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures and patient data accurately in compliance with hospital protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RCES, CRT, or RCIS certification required; BLS (AHA) certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Cath Lab procedures; structural heart experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with an active California State License.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated knowledge of interventional cardiac procedures, technical skills, and patient interaction.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, with flexibility for holiday coverage.
  
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
