Financial Controller

The Financial Controller leads the financial process of the plant. This position is responsible for the following main duties:

1. Lead financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely data management for the manufacturing facility
2. Manage financial reporting for all functional areas including Production, Purchasing, and Sales
3. Ensure controls support safeguarding company assets and providing accurate financial records.
4. Perform balance sheet reviews, inventory and ledger reporting.
5. Coordinate the periodic reporting of financial and operating results looking for opportunities to improve profitability.
6. Manage the cost accounting system.
7. Ad hoc projects and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6 - 10 years of related experience in financial analysis, reporting and accounting leadership for a small or large business, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong track record of implementing internal controls and assimilating, educating and implementing cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
• A strong aptitude in financial analysis, as well as a technical foundation in accounting.
• Experience leading diverse global financial consolidations in an accurate and timely manner
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
