Radiologic Technologist - Radiology


Job Details:


• Monday through Friday schedule with every other weekend rotation
• Flexible start times with 1-1.5 hour variation depending on staffing needs
• One call shift per week with varying hours: 1st call 6:30 AM-2:00 PM, 2nd call 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, 3rd call 10:30 PM-6:30 AM
• One day off during week leading up to work weekend and one day off the week following work weekend
• One holiday per contract required
• Handle 15-20 patients per technologist per day
• Work with inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural patients of all age ranges with minimal pediatrics
• Perform surgical/procedural imaging, general radiography, and portable studies
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment for ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
• Work in OR for orthopedic, general, and spine procedures with preferred comfort using o-arm technology
• Required certifications: ARRT, Wisconsin License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience required
• Surgery scrubs provided in-house

• No floating to other departments


Facility:


This major healthcare facility is a 636-bed Level III Trauma Center with Level III NICU designation and Magnet recognition. The facility serves as a Primary Stroke Center and maintains comprehensive imaging services including 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoroscopy suites, 1 video swallow room, plus additional clinic spaces with 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room. The radiology department operates with robust staffing including 14 technologists on days, 7 on second shift, and 3 on third shift, with 24/7 radiologist coverage and support from hospitalists and intensivists.
