Situated in Moscow, Tennessee, our 275,000 sq. ft. factory embodies our dedication to quality, flexibility, and reliability in all our operations.What You’ll DoThe manufacturing engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. This role serves as the technical bridge between product design and production execution, with a strong emphasis on process capability, standardization, and scalability.Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, and productivity targetsLead process development for new product introductions (NPI), including tooling, routing, and work instructions, automation and new equipmentDesign and validate manufacturing methods, fixtures, and equipmentIdentify and execute cost reduction initiatives through process optimization, material utilization, and labor efficiencySupport production teams in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issuesConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including waste reduction, workflow optimization, and cycle time improvement.Collaborate with Quality to define inspection methods, control plans, and acceptance criteriaInterface with Design Engineering to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFA)Evaluate and select equipment, tooling, and capital investments to support production requirementsAnalyze production data to identify trends, constraints, and opportunities for improvementSupport manufacturing readiness as requiredEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsParticipate in cross-functional teams supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives (Work closely with CI Team)What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline- (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical) or related field.3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineeringStrong knowledge of tooling design, fabrication, and familiarity with machinery maintenance.Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools for designing fixtures and toolingExcellent communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance, CI and Quality.Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines.Experience in manufacturing.Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing environments.Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.CNC Programming ExperienceWhat You’ll GainCompetitive salaried compensationComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage)401(k) with company matchingLeadership development and career growth opportunitiesThe ability to make a direct impact on safety, customer satisfaction, and operational performanceA collaborative, results-driven work environmentFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
