Project ManagerJoin Fargo Glass & Paint as a Project Manager & become an Employee Owner!Summary: Organize, Plan, and Execute Commercial Glazing Projects, overseeing all project aspects of estimating, contracting, submittals, fabrication, installation, and project closeout.Role and Responsibilities:Represent FG&P when working with contractors and clientsReview and evaluate job receivedCreate job in cERPReview specifications to get appropriate forms and submittals issuedReview job to get shop drawings started by drafterIssue purchase orders for booking glass and metalReview completed shop drawings and submit to general contractorsPrepare daily work tickets and installation orders for the field installation crewsFollow up to get shops back in timely mannerReceive approved shop drawings and order materialsVerify rough openings at job site for revisionsMake cut list for fabrication of metal in shopOrder glass for job once approved by Sr Project ManagerInstruct glaziers of proper installation procedures at job sitesIssue close-out documentsReview end of job punch listHandle change orders for jobAttend job and departmental meetings as requiredAssist with estimating as neededPartners with our Safety Department and Operations Leadership to promote and ensure a safe work environment and ensure all safety precautions are met.Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Education & Qualification Requirements:High school diploma or five to eight years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates Degree in related field preferred.
