Mainframe Developer with AI

Job Title: Mainframe Developer (AI/GenAI Experience)

Location: Alpharetta ,GA ( 3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.

Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications.

Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.

Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures, and utilities.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.

Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout SDLC phases.

Support application deployments and post-production activities.

Prepare technical design and support documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.

Experience in application development, enhancement, and production support.

Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release processes.

Experience with IBM Mainframe environments, including z/OS, TSO, and ISPF.

Skills:

Mandatory: Mainframe, DB2, COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM
Nice to Have: AI/GenAI
