The role requires strong attention to patient safety, comfort, radiation safety practices, and age-specific imaging techniques.Key Responsibilities• Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.• Operate CT scanners while ensuring optimal technique and radiation safety.• Evaluate image quality and adjust scanning parameters when needed.• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, including positioning and safety instruction.• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.• Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver efficient diagnostic services.• Support workflow efficiency and departmental operations.Required Qualifications• Education that meets all certification, licensing, or registration requirements.• BLS – American Heart Association: Required upon hire.• Oregon Medical Imaging License: Required upon hire.National Certification (one of the following):ARRT – Radiography (R) upon hire ORNMTCB – Nuclear Medicine TechnologyCT Certification (within 1 year of hire):ARRT – Computed Tomography (CT) ORNMTCB – Computed Tomography (CT)
