Registered Nurse - Acute Care Oncology

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a supportive environment. They serve as a key link between patients, families, providers, and care team members, actively participating in performance improvement initiatives and maintaining professional standards. Key Responsibilities Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, assisting with care plans and delivering safe, effective care. Collaborate with team members to prioritize patient flow and ensure optimal patient experiences. Act as a patient advocate, addressing concerns, educating patients and families, and ensuring confidentiality. Support performance improvement efforts and contribute to organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction. Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing training and development. Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive work environment and upholding professional standards. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Current BLS certification (Instructor or Provider level). Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Commitment to professional growth, quality improvement, and patient-centered care.
