Outside Electrical Salesperson
Founded in 1946 in the city of Greensburg, PA, Scott Electric Company is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States and has grown into a thriving business with storefront locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia. Opportunities exist for career-oriented individuals who are interested in successfully serving a customer base of electrical, mechanical, general contractors, industry, government agencies, municipalities, and retail hardware and building supply markets.

Scott Electric has a current opening at our Hagerstown, MD, branch for an Outside Electrical Salesperson.
Responsibilities:
- Meet face-to-face and over the phone with a diverse range of customers
- Serve a customer base that includes electrical, mechanical, and general contractors, as well as industry, government agencies, municipalities, and building supply markets
Requirements:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of electrical products
- Basic computer skills
- Market-oriented sales approach for an electrical distributor
- Good communication skills
- Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred:
- Previous electrical sales experience
Must submit to a background check and drug testing
