Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy techniques that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional ability
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and various rehabilitation professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise routines
• Maintain precise documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progression in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee comprehensive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification strongly preferred
• Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
